Become a Docent!

Docents are the life blood of every museum and as non-profits we generally can't afford to hire full time staff to give museum guests educational tours; this is especially true of new museums like the Sacramento Regional Fire Museum.

Our docents are an essential part of how we tell the story of firefighting in the Sacramento Region and we are always looking for good people to help us tell that story. Don't worry if you don't already know everything there is to know about firefighting or firefighting history in the Sacramento region, we have an awesome educational course to get our new docents up to speed and prepared to give guest amazing tours!
